Acceptable Use Policy
URLGate links are for selling access to things you have the right to share. This policy applies to creators, buyers, and anyone using the API or MCP tools, including AI agents. It is part of the Terms of Service.
Links may not point to
- Scams or phishing: pages that impersonate someone else, harvest credentials or seed phrases, or trick people into signing wallet transactions.
- Malware: viruses, drainers, or any software that harms or takes over a device or wallet.
- Child sexual abuse material or the sexual exploitation of children, in any form (see Zero tolerance below).
- Other illegal content, including content that promotes violence or terrorism, and goods or services that are illegal where they are offered.
- Content you don't have the rights to, such as copyrighted works shared without permission (see Takedown & DMCA).
- Spam: links sent in bulk to people who did not ask for them, or created in bulk to farm points.
- Anything misleading about what the buyer gets: the title and description of a link must describe its destination honestly.
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material
URLGate has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and the sexual exploitation of children. If you come across it, report the link with the reason "Child sexual abuse or exploitation" on the report form (do not open it again or send us copies). When a link is reported or found:
- it is taken down immediately, pending review by a moderator;
- the creator's pending points are frozen;
- URLGate preserves the records about the link (the link, its reports, payments and logs) for at least one year;
- apparent violations are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline, as 18 U.S.C. 2258A requires, and the creator's wallet may be suspended.
If a review finds that a link was reported by mistake, it is restored, but its records are still preserved for the preservation period. Reporting a link in this category falsely or to harass a creator is itself a breach of this policy.
Don't abuse the platform
- Don't try to reach a link's destination without paying for it or being granted access, or to replay, forge or reuse a payment authorization.
- Don't use several wallets to inflate points, sales or reports (for example wallets funded from the same source to buy your own links).
- Don't submit false or bulk reports, or use the report form to harass a creator.
- Don't exceed rate limits, flood the API or MCP server, or work around limits by rotating addresses or wallets.
- Don't probe, scan or attack URLGate's systems. If you find a security problem, tell us at report@urlgate.xyz and give us a reasonable time to fix it before disclosing it.
- Don't use URLGate if the law that applies to you forbids it, or to move funds for anyone who is subject to sanctions.
What we do about it
Moderators review reports and the platform's own abuse signals. Depending on what happened we may:
- take a link down (it can then no longer be opened or bought, including by earlier buyers);
- suspend the wallet that created it (it can no longer create links, and its live links are paused);
- withhold or void points;
- refer the matter to the authorities where the law requires or allows it, and always report apparent child sexual exploitation to NCMEC.
Every moderation action is recorded in the audit log with its reason. The creator sees that a link was taken down and why, never who reported it. To dispute a decision, contact report@urlgate.xyz.
